Bori Sensei
(Head of our sword school, based in Fukuoka, Japan)
Bori Sensei's Samurai ancestor’s statue can be seen standing proudly, holding a spear and a huge bowl ( Sakazuki ) under his arm, at Terumo Jinja. Lord Kuroda had challenged him to drink all the sake in the huge bowl, and if he could Lord Kuroda would give him a priceless spear. This statue is a testiment to his courage , fortitude, and strength in being able to take on the challenge and ultimately succeed.
The statue is there to encourage others to take on great challenges, do their very best, and have courage to conquer all that is put in front of them.

Takaoka Sensei
(Second in charge)
A man of great skill, knowledge, and amazing flexibility ( It is an amazing sight to watch him performing waza). He also posseses incredible patience and kindness, enabling him to carefully instruct me, over many years, in the finer points of this incredible sword art.

Paul Araki-Metcalfe Sensei

I will be forever in my sword teachers debt for the great honor, and responsibility, that they have bestowed upon me.
